SPORTS VISION AND CONTACT LENSES

"I found the freedom of not having to wear glasses and contact lenses when doing activities such as swimming and running the biggest life change" Chris Bennet, Competitive Triathlete and Optician

"They're just really good for active people" Darren Wiiliams  read his story

Glasses are just not suitable in sport so most people switch to conventional daytime contact lenses but even they have their limitations. Nothing beats 20/20 natural vision in sport but up until now the only option was eye laser surgery. i-GO Overnight Vision Correction (OVC) contact lenses offer shortsighted people a revolutionary new way to achieve natural vision during the day without the potential risks of laser eye surgery. With i-GO OVC, a custom-designed ortho k contact lens is only worn at night correcting your vision while you sleep then removed in the morning leaving you free to maximise your performance in your chosen sport.

You won't have to worry about:
- glasses steaming up, getting covered in rain, falling off or getting damaged
- contact lenses moving or falling out or getting irritating dust or dirt under them
- investing in special prescription sunglasses, swimming goggles, scuba or diving masks, ski goggles or sports contact lenses.

cycling

RACQUET SPORTS

  • Squash and Tennis - spectacles should not be worn in racquet sports because of the risk of eye injury from a racquet or ball hitting the head.
