FAQS

ARE THEY COMFORTABLE AND SAFE TO SLEEP IN?

On the first night you wear your lenses you may find that you want to close your eyes and go straight to sleep. Any discomfort is caused by the eyelid flickering over the lens but once the eye is closed you will have no problem sleeping. Over the first week your eyes will quickly become accustomed to the lenses as the new lens shape forms on the eye and you will find that you could happily read or sit and watch TV. i-GO contact lenses are designed and clinically approved for over night wear. They are made from a special material manufactured by Bausch and Lomb which allows six times more oxygen to reach the eye than ordinary soft contact lenses. They are custom made and can only be prescribed by a qualified optician who is also i-GO accredited, so you can be assured that your medical welfare is always uppermost. The risks associated with wearing overnight vision correction lenses are the same as with any contact lens wear.
