Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Orthokeratology and OVC?

Orthokeratology (Orthok) was originally developed in the 1960s as a correction for myopia but was unpredictable, required too much chair time and the lenses could only be worn during the day. OVC is the modern day equivalent of Orthokeratology which benefits from the latest developments in materials, precision manufacturing and diagnostic fitting techniques. This has resulted in a product which is predictable, profitable and which can be safely worn overnight.
