Pop star Lily Allen is well known for her quirky sense of style.
Now it seems she has made eyewear her new thing, being spotted out and about in London with a pair of geeky glasses on.
The 24-year-old Smile singer was out on a dinner date with friend Damien Hirst, who is also a fan of thick-rimmed glasses.
Although it is not known if Lily's glasses are prescription or merely a fashion statement, the London girl is the perfect candidate for ortho k lenses if she does suffer from shortsightedness.
Worn at night, ortho k lenses allow for wearers to see perfectly in the day without the need for any visual aids.
Someone such as Lily would find that should she want to avoid wearing glasses they are perfect, but if she wanted to return to her frames she could simply stop wearing the lenses - the eye returns to its normal shape within a short while after removal.
