Many people have had laser vision correction surgery - be it for cosmetic reasons or to help them in their sport.

Until recently there was no alternative to laser eye surgery if you did not want to wear glasses and contact lenses during the day

However, the risk of such procedures going into reversal is an area that is not often spoken about.

Last year, former Spice Girl Mel B revealed that during rehearsals for her presenting of the MOBO awards, her vision began to deteriorate.

Speaking to the Mirror at the time, she said: "I had laser treatment done to correct [my eyes], but it started to reverse in one eye. It's scary. I'm going blind again.

"I had a bit of a nightmare. I was reading the autocue and then suddenly I realised that I couldn't see properly."

Had she have known about the benefits of overnight vision correction as an alternative to laser eye surgery she may not have had such a problem.

Specilally designed overnight corrective contact lenses are worn only while sleeping to shape the cornea, so that glasses and contact lenses are not needed during the day.

If Mel B doesn't want to ruin her look with glasses and wants to forget about her vision during the day, overnight contact lenses are still an option for her.

If her eyesight has not regressed more than -1.50D then they are a perfect solution for her or anyone who has had laser eye surgery in the past and can't or doesn't want to repeat the procedure but still wants to be free from glasses.ADNFCR-2387-ID-19192645-ADNFCR
